New rude boy riddims from our boys Major Lazer. We all need something fresh to dagger to.
Maxwell’s latest single. . . Tears, is one to be remembered. More of an electronica track then his usual indie rock/acoustic routine, but he nails it. Maxwell really makes his vocals work with this synth driven track. Tears opens up the world of electronica for Maxwell, giving him yet another genre to play with. I for one hope to hear more of this.
“Carlos Melange along with Move & Harren, create an epic mash up, “Bong The Park”. It’s an incredible follow up to Melange’s most recent, “Mr. Brightline”. Its a combination of Deniz Koyu’s anthem “Bong” and SikDuo’s own masterpiece “Rock The Park”. “Bong The Park” has all the key ingredients to a WMC Monster.”
Big tune, time to remember what it was like to rock out to Lincoln Park. Download it, love it!
“I was counting cash with the money machine
She giving me head then coming outta her jeans
Smoke a pound today roll up a Juicy J double cup full of Promethazine..
Seen the Porsch I like bought the bitch twice
I can do that shit for the rest of my life
Seen the bitch I like hit the bitch twice
Stay flexing hard mother fuck a price
I get it flip it and shit it
Poppin molly dig it back to business
Ride the lamb doing twice the limit
Got your bitch screaming from start to finish
Bank bands all on my cash, stripper bitches gone shake they ass
Twenty years in the rap game, man I don’t have to make it last
That bullshit that you smoking never been in my cigar
What I’m smoking on you gotta keep in a jar
Own it to the shit and nigga pop and have a bar
With two white kids menage-a-trois
Rolling up, back to back
I need my medicine I got cataracts
One night with yo bitch then you can have her back
Me saving these hoes imagine that”

From the land of snow and misery A.K.A. Buffalo, New York (just kidding y’all have a fine city that I’ve spent years in), comes REverb Rock. A Long Island native, a transplant of Buffalo, the combination is unimaginable. . . Born from gray skies and white fields comes this tropical pleasantry, his remix of Maxwell Demon’s “Let Go.”

Plenty of spook spawns from Long Island, including the young Maxwell Demon. Maxwell and I have spent many a nights putting down Long Island Iced Teas together. From posh and classy to dark and dismal, we have been there and back. . . Well maybe not all the way back. I like to think those nights put the strange in the beings. Here are a few lines from Maxwell himself on the release of his album “Strange Beings.”
“It was a dark and stormy night. Here, in New York City, there was the faint scent of mischief and Long Island Iced Teas in the air. It was the eve of something most miraculous, one might say improbable, Maxwell Demon was finally releasing THE album.
An album so fraught with coke, booze and the heartless women of Buffalo, that it was nominated most likely to never be made. And yet, it was. Through the year of much darkness and despair, a guitar in one hand cigarette in the other, lyrics and harmonies were put down in ink, little by little, inch by inch, heartbreak after heartbreak.
And so here we are now, 15 LI iced teas deep, blacked out at a Toats Orig show, on the very tail end of a most long and arduous journey. Our story concluding with the beloved hero, lying in the street, surrounded by police, bear hugging his friend as ambulance sirens scream in the distance to come carry them away. So is it ever really truly over? Nah, I think this time it has just begun.”
